Pesta Ubin in our hearts!

Jo Yap shared this very encouraging message together with these lovely photo collages:
Just want to say a big Thank you for your and the various volunteer groups' work with Pesta Ubin. I have been to Ubin many times with friends for cycling but  through participating in 3 activities over 2 weekends, I got a chance to rediscover the beauty of this isle, on foot.

I then decided to volunteer with Hazel today and it was great to see many Singaporeans revisiting after many years and for some parents and children, surprisingly it was the first visit. That probably goes to show many young Singaporeans have been too urbanised , perhaps not by choice but by circumstances.

I believe after this event, more Singaporeans will realise that there's an inexpensive and perhaps remaining gem of an isle, just a bumboat ride away, waiting for them to get out to enjoy the rustic nature. So thanks again to you guys.

I look forward to the next Pesta Ubin!
